Training for Ammonia Emergencies

This course aligns with NFPA 470 Operations-Level Competency and covers the following topics:

• Course Orientation and Objectives
• Ammonia Properties and Health Hazards
• Containers, Systems, and Release Scenarios
• Incident Size-up and Risk Assessment
• PPE Selection and Operations-Level Tactics
• Regulatory and Safety Framework
• Scenario-Based Group Exercise followed by a Lessons Learned Debrief
