The Wichita Area Navy League is part of the Navy League of the United States which was originally formed in 1908.  The organization is a nonprofit civilian, educational, and advocacy organization that supports America’s sea services: Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and U.S. Flagged Merchant Marine. 

Our local Wichita Council supports the USS Wichita (LCS-13), the Wichita Naval Reserve Center, the local Marine JROTC program, and local Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard recruiters.

The Council meets on the first Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the “Thomas Hopkins” American Legion Post #4, 816 N. Water, Wichita.  Anyone can join!  

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC You do not need to be a veteran, just have a love for our sea services.

Sunday service at Post 4 816 N Water, Wichita KS has church the first & third Sunday of each month unless holiday conflicts.

Church is from 10:45 - 11:45AM with a very nice lunch follows.

There is no cost for the meal.

Very Wednesday afternoon since 2023 the Police officers at the Dole VA  have it out for you.

Not to arrest you. They have out the coffee cart to share a cup of coffee and build a relationship with those who work and visit the Dole VA. They make the rounds to the waiting rooms and bring friendship and a cup of Joe.
