 Hearts in Hand: A Veteran Art Coalition Workshop

Hearts in Hand is a special workshop dedicated to creating art with purpose and connecting with others through a shared passion for creating art to support wellness and prevent Veteran suicide. Veterans, service members, their families or supporters are invited to this hands-on event to create original artwork to be reproduced on Caring Contact notecards—brief, heartfelt messages sent to Veterans and their families after discharge from emergency or crisis care. These notes are part of a proven suicide prevention approach that offers continued connection and care during critical moments.

All skill levels are welcome—whether you’re a practicing artist or simply want to contribute through creative expression.

Art supplies will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own materials as well.  This workshop is free and open to the public. 

Up to three $1,000 scholarships are available
